Volunteer with us
Turn up. We will show you the rest.
No experience, no training day, no minimum commitment. Our youngest volunteer was three years old and our oldest is in their seventies. Setup is 4pm, we serve at 4:30pm, and you are home by early evening.

What a shift looks like
Three hours, start to finish
4:00pm — Setup
Tables up, trays out, urns on. Roughly twenty minutes of lifting and laying out. Wear closed shoes and something you do not mind getting food on.
4:30pm — Serving
You will be on a tray, on drinks, or handing out clothing and essentials. Gloves provided. The main thing we ask is that you talk to people, not just serve them.
6:00pm — Pack down
Everything back in the vans, site left cleaner than we found it. Many people stay for a coffee afterwards. Groups, families and workplaces are all welcome.
What we do & how you can help
Pick a way in
Filter by what you can offer. Every card is a real, current need — not a wish list.
Can’t make it on the day?
Fund the part you would have done
Plenty of people want to help but cannot get to Woolloomooloo on a Sunday. Covering a specific cost is just as useful as standing at the table — and we will tell you exactly what it paid for.
